The Gents, led by head coach and Shreveport native Byron Dawson, will open their season on Sept. 6 against Westgate Christian University at Atkins Field and are scheduled to play nine regular-season games – five at home and four on the road. Centenary was picked to finish fourth in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference this season in the preseason poll and picked up one first-place vote.
