Shreveport - The Centenary football team lost 20-10 to the Austin College 'Roos in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference game and the regular-season finale for both teams inside Atkins Field.
The Gents (1-7, 1-4 SCAC) and 'Roos (2-6, 1-4 SCAC) will meet again next Saturday at 10 AM in the fifth-place game of the inaugural SCAC Football Championship Weekend at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Ark.
