SHREVEPORT�- With the calendar quickly changing to November, the Centenary women's basketball team will begin the season on Wednesday with a Maroon and White scrimmage at 7 p.m in the Gold Dome.
On Wednesday, the Ladies will split up on even teams with assistant coaches Bojan Jankovic and K.C. Cowgill taking the reins for each squad. Even though the game will be called a scrimmage it will be treated as a real contest with three referees being assigned, and is open to the public.
This will be the fans first chance to see the 2007-08 edition of Ladies basketball, with the next opportunity being an official exhibition game set for Nov. 6 against LSU-Shreveport in the Gold Dome at 5 p.m.
