SHREVEPORT - Stefani Robbs (Farmers Branch, Texas) had three shots, while Brittany O'Neal (Nacogdoches, Texas) kicked two during Friday's 0-0 tie in Centenary's women's soccer exhibition match against Stephen F. Austin.
Both teams could not muster a lot of offense on Friday, as SFA narrowly outshot the Ladies 9-8. However, coming up with three big saves in the match was senior Ali Hilsher (Tulsa, Okla.), who made two in the second period.
Both of Centenary's shots on goal came in the first half, as Robbs' and senior Bre Fletcher's (Schertz, Texas) shots were saved by Crystin Pactor. The Ladies had two shots total in the second period but none on goal.
Friday's exhibition match was the only one on the schedule, and Centenary will begin its real season on Friday, Aug. 31 at Arkansas State.
