LAKE CHARLES, La. �- The Centenary women's soccer team was shutout on Friday night by McNeese State, 3-0. The Ladies had seven shots on the evening, while the Cowgirls had 21.
Centenary was led offensively have sophomore Stefanie Robbs, who had two shots on goal and three total. Between the pipes for the Ladies was senior Ali Hilsher, who made three saves but allowed two first half goals. Sophomore Kate Donnelly saw her first action of the year, and she made the most it, as she stopped three McNeese scoring chances.
The Ladies are now 3-5-0 on the season, while the Cowgirls improve to 3-2-3. Centenary will be back in action on Sunday as they travel to Ruston to play Louisiana Tech at 1 p.m.
