Kansas City, K.S. - The Brevard College women's soccer team received an NSCAA/adidas Team Academic Award earlier this month, rewarding the team for its hard work off the soccer field and in the classroom.
The Tornados was one of 300 women's soccer teams across the nation that posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning themselves the NSCAA/adidas Team Academic Award for the 2006-07 academic year.
Coach Liz Stojetz's squad posted a team grade point average of 3.27 over the 2006-07 academic year.
