ELMHURST, Ill. -- One day after earning Summit League Player of the Week honors, Centenary's Tell Ross was named to the College Baseball Foundation's National All-Star Lineup on Tuesday.
Ross helped the Gents to a 5-1 record last week by batting .591. For the week, he had 13 hits, 13 RBI, 10 runs, 2 doubles, 2 walks and 1 home run. The junior had a season high five RBI against Texas College, recorded four multi-hit games and leads Centenary with a .462 season average.
For the year, Ross has a .429 batting average for the 13-4 Gents and leads the team with 24 hits, six doubles and 21 RBI. He has also recorded one triple and one home run this season.
This was the first such honor in Ross's career.
