SHREVEPORT-The Centenary men's and women's golf teams will take part in Sam Houston State's Harold Funston Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at Ravens Nest Golf Club in Huntsville, Texas.
The tournament will be played on a par-71 course with yardages for the women at 6,067 and 6,943 for the men. Tee-times are scheduled to begin at 8 am with two rounds on Monday and shotgun start at 8 am Tuesday for the final 18 holes.
The Gents will compete against Houston-Victoria, SFA, Oklahoma City, UT-Pan Am, Texas Southern, Tyler Junior College, Sam Houston State, McNeese, Nicholls, Oklahoma Christian and UT-Brownsville.
The Ladies will compete against Houston-Victoria, SFA, Oklahoma City, UT-Pan Am, Texas Southern, Tyler Junior College, Sam Houston, State, Concordia (TX), Redlands, St. Edwards, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Results will be available following each day.
This tournament will mark the final fall event for both the Ladies and the Gents.
