Gibson (72-71) bettered his score by one stroke to shoot a career-best 143 to tie for 10th overall. The England native finished just 10 shots behind tournament winner Kristjan Einarsson of Nicholls State.
Freshman Hank Strickler (77-74) trimmed three shots off his opening round to total 151 to finish t-35, while classmates Matt Delaney (74-81, 155) and Andres Forese (79-78, 157) followed tied for 45th and 51st. Freshman John Sidery rounded out the Gents (80-82, 162) tied for 55th.
As a team, Centenary (302-304) added two shots to yesterday's round to fire a two-round 606. Sam Houston State captured first place with a 564, followed by Oklahoma City, three shots back at 567. Nicholls State rounded out the top three with a 575.
The Ladies remained in 10th place following the final round on Tuesday. Centenary was led by junior Justine Kemp (84-80), who cut four shots off to t-34th with a 164. Classmate Kyndal Rose (88-82) rallied to shoot the best score of the day for the Ladies, finishing tied with freshman teammate Sarah Bradshaw (88-88) with a 170 in 41st place.
Rounding out the Ladies were junior Rachel Grinnell (82-91, 173) t-48th and sophomore Kylee Goldthorn (104-91, 195) t-55th.
Sam Houston State also captured the women's title with a two-round 590, followed by Redlands CC in second with a 592 and St. Edwards in third at 599.
This tournament concluded the Centenary Fall season as the Ladies and Gents look to break for a few months before hitting the course for their Spring season.
