Gents Defeat Wildcats In Match On Sunday
The Centenary men's golf team defeated the Louisiana Christian University Wildcats in a match, 4-1, on Sunday at Links on the Bayou as the Gents continued to prepare for the opening of their Fall season.

Junior Aubrey Snell (Shreveport, La.), senior Jeffrey Borchert (Katy, Texas), senior Colton Mayer (Heath, Texas), and freshman Trey Bishop (Oklahoma City, Okla.) all claimed wins while the Gents only suffered one defeat as freshman Mason Wiener (Holland, Pa.) fell to LCU's Clayten Ray.
Snell defeated Blake Francis (3 & 1), Borchert edged Cooper Ware (3 & 2), Mayer beat Ryan Connerly (3 & 2), and Bishop defeated Andrew Cordova (6 & 4).
The Gents open the Fall season on Saturday, Sept. 20 in the Rhodes Fall Invitational held at Tunica National Golf Club in Tunica, Miss. The tournament will conclude on Monday.
