Men's Golf Finishes Seventh At West Region Invitational
The Centenary men's golf team shot a 91-over par 955 to finish seventh in the West Region Invitational on Tuesday at White Bluff Golf Resort.
Lake Whitney, Texas - The Centenary men's golf team shot a 91-over par 955 to finish seventh in the West Region Invitational on Tuesday at White Bluff Golf Resort.

The Gents shot a 56-over par 632 on Monday, shooting an identical 28-over par 316 in rounds one and two and were in sixth place. Centenary finished with a 35-over par 323 on Tuesday at the par 72, 6,866-yard course.
Southwestern University, the tournament host, finished in a fourth-place tie with the University of Dallas at 55-over par 919. The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor claimed the team title after shooting a 12-over par 876 to finish eight shots ahead of runner-up Trinity University (20-over 884). Hardin-Simmons University finished third (52-over par 916) ahead of the Pirates and Crusaders. The Southwestern "B" team finished sixth at 70-over par 934.
UMHB's Cole MacMillan, the individual leader after Monday's action, won the title as he shot an 8-under par 208 and edged his teammate Cade Barone (6-under 210).
Junior Aubrey Snell (Shreveport, La.) had the Gents' top finish as he tied for 13th place at 10-over par 226 (76-75-75) to earn his fifth top-15 finish of the season. Senior Jeffrey Borchert (Katy, Texas) and freshman Trey Bishop (Oklahoma City, Okla.) tied for 29th place (23-over par 239), freshman Mason Wiener (Holland, Pa.) finished 36th at 35-over 251, senior Colton Mayer (Heath, Texas) tied for 37th place (62-over 278) and senior Parker Christensen (Castle Rock, Colo.) shot a 75-over 291.
UP NEXT: The Gents will compete in the annual Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships set for April 19-21 at Hawks Creek Golf Club in Westworth Village, Texas.
