Gents Sixth Entering Final Round At 2025 SCAC Preview
The Centenary men's golf team shot a 12-over par 300 in round one of the 2025 SCAC Preview on Monday as the Gents are in sixth place at Hawk's Creek Golf Club.
Westworth Village, Texas – The Centenary men's golf team shot a 12-over par 300 in round one of the 2025 SCAC Preview on Monday as the Gents are in sixth place at Hawk's Creek Golf Club.
The Gents are joined by the host University of Dallas along with Concordia University, Hendrix College, Howard Payne University, McMurry University, Schreiner University, Texas Lutheran, and the University of St. Thomas.

Schreiner University is the team leader after round one as the Mountaineers shot a 4-under par 284 to lead St. Thomas by two shots (2-under 286). Hendrix and Concordia are tied for third at 1-under 287 and TLU is in fifth ahead of the Gents at 7-over 295.
McMurry is seventh, St. Thomas' "B" team is eighth, Dallas is ninth, the Crusaders' "B" squad is 10th, and Howard Payne is 11th. Two Mountaineers are tied for the individual lead at 4-under 68 – Ryan Avila and Ryan Warneke. UST's Antonio Ramirez is third after shooting a 3-under par 69.
Junior Aubrey Snell (Shreveport, La.) is leading the way for the Gents after he shot an even-par 72 and is tied for 10th place. Freshman Trey Bishop (Oklahoma City, Okla.) is tied for 12th after a 1-over par 73, and freshman Mason Wiener (Holland, Pa.) shot a 4-over par 76 and is in a tie for 33rd place.
Senior Jeffrey Borchert (Katy, Texas) shot a 7-over par 79 and is tied for 45th place, senior Hahn Bridges (Sterlington, La.) shot a 12-over 84 and is 64th, and senior Colton Mayer (Heath, Texas) is playing as an individual and shot a 15-over 87 and is in a tie for 67th place.
Tuesday's final round is set for 8:30 AM.
