The Centenary men's and women's golf teams completed round one action in their annual home tournament, the Hal Sutton Invitational, on Monday at The Golf Club at Stonebridge.
Bossier City – The Centenary men's and women's golf teams completed round one action in their annual home tournament, the Hal Sutton Invitational, on Monday at The Golf Club at Stonebridge.
The Ladies and Gents and the rest of the field battled blustery, cold conditions as temperatures dropped 30 degrees overnight following severe weather. Winds gusted up to 30 MPH on Monday as temperatures held steady in the low 50's.

Tuesday's final round is set to begin at 8:30 AM with an awards ceremony afterward. The men are being challenged by a par 72, 6,851-yard layout and the women are being tested by a par-72, 5,814-yard course. The Gents finished fourth in last year's event and the Ladies finished third.

The men's field is comprised of the host Gents, Belhaven University ("A" and "B" teams), Hendrix College, Lyon College, Mississippi University for Women (MUW), Central College (Iowa), Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Jacksonville College ("A" and "B" teams), and Louisiana Christian University.
The women's field includes the host Ladies, Hendrix, Mississippi College, Texas Lutheran University, Central College (Iowa), Lyon, MUW, and Jacksonville College.
