Gents Bested By Majors In Exhibition Dual Match
The Centenary men's golf team lost an exhibition dual match against host Millsaps College on Wednesday at Lake Caroline Golf Club.
Madison, Miss. - The Centenary men's golf team lost an exhibition dual match against host Millsaps College on Wednesday at Lake Caroline Golf Club.
The Gents shot a 25-over par 313 while the Majors finished with a 5-under par 283 after one round of stroke play at the par 72 course.
Millsaps' Julius Kroell and William Jeonsson each fired a 4-under par 68 to tie atop the leaderboard and junior Aubrey Snell (Shreveport, La.) led the way for the Gents as he shot a 3-under par 69.
Senior Jeffrey Borchert (Katy, Texas) was next with a 1-under 71, freshman Trey Bishop (Oklahoma City, Okla.) shot a 13-over 85, senior Colton Mayer (Heath, Texas) shot a 16-over par 88, and senior Parker Christensen (Castle Rock, Colo.) shot a 24-over 96.
