Gents Set To Tee Off In FST Crossing Creeks Invitational
The Centenary men's golf team officially begins its Spring season on Monday as the Gents are set to tee off in the Fabric Solutions and Technologies Crossing Creeks Invitational hosted by LeTourneau University at Crossing Creeks Country Club.

The Gents and the field will be tested by the par 70, 6,639-yard course and will play 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday. In addition to the host YellowJackets and Gents, the field includes Buena Vista University, California Lutheran University, East Texas Baptist University, Hendrix College, Howard Payne University, Kean University, Mississippi University for Women (MUW), Moravian University, and Schreiner University.
Centenary's lineup will consist of junior Aubrey Snell (Shreveport, La.), senior Jeffrey Borchert (Katy, Texas), freshman Mason Wiener (Holland, Pa.), freshman Trey Bishop (Oklahoma City, Okla.), senior Colton Mayer (Heath, Texas), and senior Parker Christensen (Castle Rock, Colo.). Wiener and Christensen will play as individuals.
The Gents prepped for the spring opener with an exhibition dual match last week against host Millsaps College at Lake Caroline Golf Club in Madison, Miss. Centenary shot a 25-over par 313 as Snell led the way for the Gents as he shot a 3-under par 69. Borchert was next with a 1-under 71, Bishop shot a 13-over 85, Mayer shot a 16-over par 88, and Christensen shot a 24-over 96.
Centenary capped the Fall season with a tie for sixth place in the Belhaven Invitational on Oct. 28 as Snell led the way for the Gents as he finished fifth at 2-over par 146 (75-71) and was named to the All-Tournament Team. Snell, who tied for third place at the 2025 SCAC Preview on Oct. 14, now has seven top-five finishes in his career.
Bishop shot a 7-over par 151 (73-68) to tie for 25th place in the SCAC Preview and led the way for the Gents in their first event of the season, the Rhodes Fall Invitational back in September, as he shot a 20-over par 236 to tie for 48th place.
