The Ladies came out early when junior Bonnie Matak singled and senior Haley Bassett reached on an error. A walk by senior Allison Shepperd, followed by a RBI-single by freshman Rachel Conard put the Ladies up 1-0.
Junior Caitlin Cavarra had the big hit of the day when she sent a line drive over the center fielder's head for a three-run double. In the next play, the Ladies executed a perfect first and third play to go up 5-0.
BPCC found a way to plate one run the rest of the afternoon, as a sacrifice fly by Shepperd plated Bassett later.
Freshman Jessica Sheldon and juniors Sara Dornelas and Lauren Highsmith each pitched.
The Ladies managed to pull off five successful steals on the Cavaliers. On the day, Bassett led Centenary with two hits.
This coming weekend will mark the final fall scrimmages for the Ladies as they travel back to Bossier City to face Southern Arkansas at 10:30 a.m. and LSU-Eunice at 7:30 p.m.
