SHREVEPORT-The Centenary softball team will host Northwestern State on Wednesday at 6:00 pm at the Centenary Softball Complex.
The Ladies (5-9) are coming off of two losses by North Texas last Friday and currently hold a home record of 1-2.
Centenary is led by senior Haley Bassett with a .357 clip and a team-best six doubles. Junior Sara Dornelas trails with and currently hold a home record of 1-2.

Dornelas is also contributing as the Ladies leading pitcher on the mound with a team-low 3.67 ERA in 14 game appearances. She has 35 strikeouts in 55.1 inning of work.
Northwestern and Centenary will meet for the first time this season as the two teams met twice last season as the Ladies won both contests, 7-4 and 10-6 at home.
Following Wednesday's contest, Centenary will open Summit League play on Friday and Saturday when it hosts Oakland in a three-game set.
