SHREVEPORT-As an unexpected 5.4 inches of snow reached Shreveport, the Centenary softball team was forced to call off its season-opening Spring Tournament this weekend.
With a field of Houston Baptist, Memphis, Wichita State, Nicholls, and Southern, Centenary would have played among a competitive field, however field conditions are in no way playable over the next three days.
The Ladies will now open their season at Texas on Tuesday beginning at 6:30 pm against the Big 12 Longhorns.
