The Ladies (8-10, 2-1 Summit) are coming off a weekend series win as they finished with a 2-1 mark against Summit League foe Oakland in the conference opener.
Centenary is currently 1-5 on the road this season with its only road win coming against Grambling earlier this season.
At the plate, senior Haley Bassett leads the way with a .365 clip, a team-best 19 hits, six doubles, and a .538 slugging percentage. Junior Sara Dornelas is right behind with a .362 mark with 17 knocks. Sophomore Kalyn Harris paces Centenary with 12 RBI, while classmate Katie Matthews adds 11.
Dornelas is 7-7 on the season and also holds a team-low 3.53 ERA on the mound as the Ladies top pitcher. She has thrown 71.1 innings, allowing 36 earned runs on 82 hits, while fanning 47 and walking 23. Junior Lauren Highsmith is coming off a solid week, lowering her ERA to 5.25 and garnering her first win of the season and Summit League Pitcher of the Week accolades.
Centenary and Louisiana-Monroe have made it a tradition to face each other almost every season as in-state rivals. Wednesday's game will mark the 37th time these two teams meet as the Ladies own a slight 18-17 record with one tie over the Warhawks.
Centenary took both games from ULM last season in a 6-1 win and a 5-4 win.
Following the mid-week contest, Centenary will host North Dakota State on Friday and Saturday in Summit League action beginning at 4:00 pm on Friday.
