LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Centenary's Craig Littleman was named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday.
The Lechee, Ariz., tied for the team lead in batting average (.476), hits (10) and RBI (9) on the week with Matt Creamer. Littleman led the squad with three doubles while scoring five runs on the week. The senior logged a hit in all five outings on the week, including three multi-hit efforts and two contests with multiple RBI, including a four RBI outing in the opener against the Pirates.
Littleman becomes the second straight Gent to receive the conference's player of the week laurel and the third overall. Littleman joins Tyler Clakley and Ben Schweinfurth as weekly players of the week and Layton Tromba and Taylor Henry, who were named pitchers of the week by the SCAC.
Centenary returns to action on Tuesday, Mar.26 as the Gents travel to LeTourneau. First pitch at LETU is scheduled for 6 p.m.
