DELHI, La. - The Centenary men's golf team posted a two round total of 667 to conclude the Mississippi College Spring Invitational in 11th. The Gents fired a 332 in the final round after a 335 in the opening round on Monday.
Zander Winston finished as the Maroon and White's top golfer. The Colleyville, Texas, native shot an 80 on the second day to finish with a 159. The sophomore finished tied for seventh after the two-day event.
Jamie Gibson improved his score by four strokes to finish the invite in a tie for 10th. The product from Barnsley, England shot a 78 on the final day.
Hank Strickler improved his second day score by two strokes posting an 81 on Tuesday to finish tied for 30th. Arni Sigurdsson (184) and Andres Forese (91) concluded the scorers for the Gents in a tie for 71st and 85th respectively.
Centenary returns to the links on Sunday, Mar. 10 as part of the three-day ADIDAS Intercollegiate hosted by Ohio Wesleyan at the Dataw Island Golf Club on Dataw Island, S.C.
