Dataw Island, S.C. - Centenary's Zander Winston claimed the individual medal as the Centenary men's golf team finished second at the Taylormade Adidas Intercollegiate.
Winston posted a score of 221 besting his nearest rival Brandon Godwin of Faulkner by two strokes to win the intercollegiate. The Colleyville, Texas, native posted round scores of 77, 73 and a round-low 71 on the third day en route to the crown.
The Gents finished with a team score of 947 behind Faulkner.
Hank Strickler finished 13th with a three-day total of 235 (74, 84, 77) while Jamie Gibson finished 26th with a score of 242 (83, 76, 83). Andres Forese rounded out the Gents' total in a tie for 51st with a score of 256 (95, 79, 82).
Centenary returns to the links on Sunday, Mar. 24 as the Gents host the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate in the Golf Club at Stonebridge in Bossier City, La.
