DESTIN, Fla. - Centenary men's golfer Zander Winston was named to the Division III PING All-Region Team as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
The Colleyville, Texas, native is one of 14 golfers from the West Region selected to the 80-plus all-region squad. Players across six regions - Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Great Lakes, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2013.
Winston was named to the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference First Team and helped guide the Gents to a third place finish in the SCAC Championships. The sophomore claimed tournament wins at the Taylormade/Adidas Intercollegiate and the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate.
