Rock Hill, S.C.- The South Atlantic Conference office has announced that BC setter Kayla Hanus led the SAC in service aces per set this season, while the Tornados led the SAC in team service aces per set.
The junior from Kent, Washington recorded .48 services aces per set in 2012. Hanus recorded 41 service aces on the season, including a season-high five service aces in a three-set match against Carson-Newman on September 27th.
As a team, the Tornados led the conference with 1.90 service aces per set. Teammate Kortney Conner finished second in the conference with .41 service aces per set.
The Tornados recorded 196 service aces on the season, 10 ahead of the second-place LMU Railsplitters.
