The Gents are coming off an impressive four-game league sweep over North Dakota State, improving their overall record to 17-14 and 7-1 in league play to take over sole possession of first place.
Over the weekend, junior Alex Todd hit an astounding .692 (9x13) with three runs scored, five RBI, a double and two home runs.
Senior Cliff Shepard continues to pace the Centenary offense on the year with a .368 clip, a team-best 43 hits, 12 doubles, and 28 RBI. Junior Keegan Acker follows with a .333 average and 22 walks.
On the bump, the Gents are led by junior Boone Whiting with a 3.00 ERA and a 3-1 record, while junior David Benson owns a 4.02 ERA and a 4-2 record. Out of the pen, senior Dakota Robinson has been solid with a 4.05 ERA and a 2-1 record, while junior Stephen Tromblee has a team-best four saves on the season, including two this past weekend.
Hawai'I will enter the single game with an 18-18 overall record and a 4-5 mark on the road.
Offensively, the 'Bows are led by Kolten Wong with a .351 average and a team-best 47 hits and 25 RBI. On the mound, Josh Slaats holds a 1.97 ERA and a 3-2 record, while Lenny Linsky has a team-low 1.27 ERA and seven saves.
Following Tuesday's game, Centenary will travel to Oakland for a four-game set with the Golden Grizzlies beginning on Friday at 2:00 pm CT.
