The Centenary women's soccer team was blanked 3-0 by the LeTourneau University YellowJackets in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Friday evening at the LETU Soccer Field.

Longview, Texas - The Centenary women's soccer team was blanked 3-0 by the LeTourneau University YellowJackets in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Friday evening at the LETU Soccer Field.
The Ladies (1-9-2, 0-3-1 SCAC) fell to 0-4 on the road this season while the YellowJackets improved to 6-5-1 overall and won their first conference match as they are now 1-4 in league play and are 5-3 at home.
Sarah Wyatt scored the first of her two goals in the fourth minute to give LeTourneau an early 1-0 lead and was assisted by Terra Tucker. The YellowJackets held that 1-0 advantage at halftime until Wyatt found the net again in the 60th minute, assisted by Chanel Kemball-Cook, to make it 2-0. Tucker then scored in the 76th minute with Lana Whiteman assisting to make it 3-0
Freshman Morgan Stancliff (Pensacola, Fla.) played all 90 minutes in the net for the Ladies and made eight saves, marking the third match this season with eight or more saves.
The YellowJackets played two goalkeepers as Kelauna Cruz started and picked up the win as she played the first 77:53 and made one save. Abi King relieved her and played the final 12:07.
The aggressive YellowJackets finished with a decisive 24-4 advantage in shots and took five corner kicks to the Ladies' four. LeTourneau was whistled for eight fouls and the Ladies were called for four.
Centenary will be back home on Sunday to face Austin College (4-4-2, 1-3-1 SCAC) at NOON.
