Ladies Fall 2-0 At St. Thomas In Season Finale
The Centenary women's soccer team finished its season with a 2-0 loss on Saturday against the University of St. Thomas in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match at Sabercats Stadium.

Houston - The Centenary women's soccer team finished its season with a 2-0 loss on Saturday against the University of St. Thomas in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match at Sabercats Stadium.
Centenary completes its season with a 1-14-3 overall record and an 0-8-2 mark in conference play. UST improved to 10-2-4 and 7-1-2 in SCAC play.
The aggressive Celts finished with a 29-1 advantage in shots and kept the Ladies' goalkeepers - freshman GK Morgan Stancliff (Pensacola, Fla.) and freshman GK Gracie Rellin (Haughton, La.) busy as they combined for 10 saves.
Stancliff, who entered the match as the league leader in saves, made nine in her 74:48 before Rellin replaced her and made one in 15:12. Mia Coca went the distance in the net for the Celts and did not make a save as she recorded the shutout.
The teams played to a scoreless tie at halftime and it was still deadlocked at zero until Bre Medina scored in the 64th minute to make it 1-0. Ashlee Stoltje and Emma Cerda assisted on the score.
Andrea Chavez Rosales then scored in the 71st minute to make it 2-0 as she was assisted by Margarita Baltazar. Abigail Davila capped the scoring with a penalty kick in the final seconds of the match to make it 3-0.
