SHREVEPORT, La. – Centenary Ladies Gymnastics and eighth year head coach Jackie Fain released the 2019 schedule on Thursday, October 4.
The slate includes five home meets in the Gold Dome, highlighted by the Ladies serving host to the 2019 Midwest Independent Conference Championships Friday night, March 22. Other meets in Shreveport include Wisconsin Eau-Claire visiting January 19, Texas Woman's and Gustavus Adolphus competing in a tri-meet February 1, Gustavus Adolphus taking on the Ladies in a dual meet February 3, and Air Force visiting the Gold Dome March 1.
Centenary will also see five teams who made NCAA Regional competition last season, including Michigan and Minnesota at Missouri for a quad meet March 15. The Ladies will also take on Arizona March 3 in a quad meet at Texas Woman's with Air Force March 3.
The Ladies kick off the season against 2018 NCAA Regional qualifier Kent State in Chicago for a quad meet with UIC and Wisconsin-Osh Kosh January 13. Centenary will close out January when it faces the defending the USA Gymnastic Championship Pioneers in Denton, Texas, for a quad meet January 27 with Wisconsin-Stout and Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Other meets include a dual at Lindenwood February 24 and a trip to the northeast for a pair of competitions. On March 8, the Ladies will participate in a quad meet at Rutgers with Towson and Bridgeport. Centenary will take on William & Mary at Temple March 10.
NCAA Regional competition is set for April 6 with locations and times to be announced. The 2019 USA Gymnastics Championships will be contested at the University of Bridgeport April 12-14.
