Shreveport - The Centenary men's basketball team cut its 11-point halftime deficit to three early in the second half, but fell 73-67 in a hard-fought battle to the East Texas Baptist University Tigers a non-conference contest and the Gents' home opener inside the Gold Dome.

We will get back to work Sunday and refocus for another home game against Arlington Baptist on Tuesday."
